sexy back

There is just something special about a seemingly office appropriate dress that surprises you with a fantastic cut out back. I’m all about multi-use, and this dress takes me from work (with a sleeveless blazer) right into dinner or drinks without batting an eyelash. It’s lady-like but also a little flirty. The pattern even takes away some of the pressure of having an all white dress and shakes things up in my world of black and white uniforms. Love how the crisscross in the back mimics the shoes as well.

I actually found this dress at a consignment store in Santa Barbara – more proof you should buy second hand when you travel.

I’m all for having work clothes which excite you and can be worn after hours too.  It’s great to have a beautiful piece like this to pull out on big days when you want to leave a good impression. Here’s hoping it worked!

Dress: Fifth Label, similar flared mini here, floral print bargain here, longer lbd here, Shoes: Ecco, Bag: Chloe
